I don’t always set New Year’s Resolutions, after all why wait until a new year. However, understandably, most of us find the prospect of a new year incredibly motivating and see it as a brilliant time to set goals.

A new year is a blank slate, a chance to start again. To let go of anything you want to release. It can be a powerful motivator to start a new habit. And of course, the first of any month, especially the first of the year, is a great place to start measuring progress.

I think after the last two years, we could all do with a fresh start.

When it comes to setting goals, your goals should be meaningful. Think about goals that not only increase your well-being but also bring you joy. When you choose to focus on joy, it doesn’t matter if you achieve them or not. It’s the active pursuit of your goals that brings you happiness.
