Hello, my name is Katina

“Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.”
Since 2013, I’ve been helping people transform their lives as a professional hypnotherapist. From my offices in Lowestoft and Norwich — or via Zoom for online appointments — I’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of clients across Norfolk and Suffolk.
In 2021 and again in 2022, I was honoured to win an award as Hypnotherapist of the Year. You can read more about the award ceremony here. In 2023 I honoured again to win an award for supporting Mental Health by Global Health & Pharma.
“My Mission is for everyone to take care of their mental health every day.”
My passion is about helping everyday people vanquish fear and conqueror their anxiety so that they have the confidence to follow their dreams. And this is supported by my mission to encourage taking care of your mental health to be seen as a normal everyday practice.
I’m passionate about helping people overcome fear and anxiety so they can embrace life with confidence. Just as we prioritise eating healthily or exercising, I believe caring for our mental health should be part of our everyday routine.
Hypnotherapy is truly life-changing. Many clients come to me unsure of how it works or how quickly it can bring relief. Watching them overcome challenges in just a few sessions — often issues they’ve been struggling with for years — is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Some problems may take longer to resolve, but the best way to begin is to start. Call me today at (01502) 587 341 or 07847 552 390 now to learn more — you’ll be glad you did!

A little bit about Katina
I work with individuals seeking positive changes in their lives, whether that’s managing stress, conquering fears or phobias, losing weight, reducing pain, or adopting long-term habits that align with their goals.
Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I spent over 25 years in Human Resources, where I focused on helping people overcome anxiety, build confidence, and regain control of their lives. I used tools like NLP coaching, meditation, mindfulness, and other holistic practices to empower individuals during challenging times.
Today, I’m a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner, Mindfulness Practitioner, Meridian-Based Therapist, Sound Therapist, Crystal Therapist, and Coach. Whether in person at my Lowestoft or Norwich offices or online via Zoom, I work closely with my clients to help them achieve meaningful change.
How I discovered Hypnotherapy
My journey into hypnotherapy began after my husband, Neil, suffered a life-changing spinal injury in 2009. The accident left him with chronic, inoperable pain. As a therapist, I believed in the power of alternative therapies and began exploring new ways to help him manage his discomfort.
After completing a short hypnotherapy course, I was amazed by the results. Together, Neil and I used hypnosis to temporarily reduce his pain from a 10 to a manageable 3 on the pain scale. Inspired by this success, I pursued advanced training and eventually completed my master’s in hypnotherapy.
Since then, it’s been my privilege to help countless individuals overcome challenges and reclaim control over their lives, health, and happiness. Read more about how hypnotherapy changed my life.

Katina 'The Happy Hypnotist'

“Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.” Frank Tyger
If I had to choose one word to describe myself, it would be happy.
To me, happiness is about finding joy in everyday moments — whether I’m walking my dog Bella along the beach, enjoying Sunday lunch with my family, travelling the world, or simply tending to my garden.
Life can be busy, but I always make time for what I love. Playing the harp, baking, reading, or spending quality time with friends and family keeps my world colourful and full of meaning.
Having a career where I make a real difference in people’s lives inspires me to start each day with a big smile and bright colours. I love what I do, and I love helping others live happier, more fulfilled lives.

When we think about our mind, we tend to think of our conscious mind and our subconscious mind. Your conscious mind is the part of your mind that you’re thinking with right now. The conscious part of your mind is logical and analytical. Everything below that is your subconscious mind. The subconscious part contains all the memories of everything you’ve…
